Man Fatally Shot In Roxborough Tuesday Night

A 32-year-old man died after being shot multiple times on the 7000 block of Ridge Avenue. Contact police at 215-686-8477 with information.

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — A man was fatally shot Tuesday night in Roxborough, and a $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction, according to police.

Officers at about 9:22 p.m. were called to the 7000 block of Ridge Avenue for a report of a person with a gun.

There, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds to the body.

He was taken to Roxborough Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:52 p.m.

Police identified the victim as 32-year-old Tariq Duncan, of the 1700 block of Wylie Street.

A firearm was found next to Duncan, but police said it's unclear whose weapon it was.

Investigators found multiple spent rifle shell casings at the scene, as well as shell casings from a semi-automatic handgun.

Police said there is no video evidence available, and no suspect has been identified.

The suspect was described as wearing a green sweatshirt and dark pants, with a shaved head.

A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
