Manayunk Arts Festival Embraces Creativity, Cuisine
Sunday's the last day to enjoy Manayunk's Arts Festival.
Ignite out your inner creative side at the 24th annual Manayunk Arts Festival.
More than 200 artists line Main Street, stretching a span of nearly a mile, to sell their original pieces within the confines of a small, tented booth. Live music and food vendors, ranging from local businesses to trucks, set the mood and offer refreshments from the summer heat. The artists came from 27 states and Canada. If you missed the festival Saturday, stop by Sunday between 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Mosaics, real fruit jewelry, acrylic paintings and sports memorabilia comprise just some of the artistic options, providing embellishments for the wrists and ears or decor for the home. There’s attractions for the whole family, including both pets and children, who may take interest in the creative capes or jewelry designed from doll shoes.
