Manayunk's 5th Annual Rudolph Run: What You Need To Know
Instead of a registration fee, participants are asked to bring canned goods and other items to be donated to the North Light food pantry.

MANAYUNK, PHILADELPHIA – For the fifth year, the annual Rudolph Run will task runners with traversing 3.1 miles in Manayunk while supporting North Light Community Center’s food pantry.
The Fifth Annual Rudolph Run 5K will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8 on the Manayunk Towpath.
Runners will gather at Philadelphia Runner in Manayunk, 4358 Main St., before and after the run. After the run, Philadelphia Runner will have chocolate and other sweet treats at their shop.

The route begins at Canal View Park, 4420 Main St.
In lieu of registration fees, runners are asked to bring canned goods and other necessities to be donated. Participating runners are also encouraged to wear festive attire, such as Santa suites, reindeer antlers, ugly sweaters, and more.

All participants will be given red noses and bells and New Balance is bringing shoes for runners to test out on the run.
After the run, runners who show their bib will be able to stop by many of Manayunk’s "Reindeer Stops" for deals and discounts throughout the day. Those include free coffee at Greg’s Kitchen, 25 percent off all juices at The Juice Merchant, happy hour priced drinks and appetizers at The Goat’s Beard, and discounted class packs at The Wall Cycling Studio.
The run is held jointly with Manayunk.com and Philadelphia Runner.
