Manayunk's Conarroe Street Closing For Outdoor Dining

Conarroe Street will be closed to accommodate outdoor dining through Sunday in Manayunk, according to the city.

MANAYUNK, PHILADELPHIA — A street in Manayunk is closing this weekend to provide outdoor dining options in the neighborhood, according to the city.

From Thursday through Sunday, Conarroe Street in Manayunk will be closed from 11 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.
The road will be closed between Main and Cresson streets.

In June, the city launched four new options — sidewalk cafés, streeteries, temporary use of private lots for dining, and temporary street closures — for restaurants to operate outdoor dining in order to earn much needed revenue.

These new options aim to support businesses during the city's green phase of reopening from the COVID-19 pandemic and are allowed through an application process.

Businesses or organizations approved for temporary full street closures in support of outdoor dining must reapply weekly.
