Paving On I-76 East Forcing Lane Closures This Week In Philadelphia
Overnight resurfacing work on Interstate 76 east will force lane closures while crews work to repave sections of the highway.
PHILADELPHIA — Resurfacing work will impact traffic on Interstate 76 east in Philadelphia overnight this week, PennDOT said.
According to PennDOT, this work is part of a $36.8 million project to resurface and repair nearly five miles of the interstate, the associated on-and-off ramps, and 23 bridges from U.S. 1 South (City Avenue) to Interstate 676 (Vine Street Expressway) in Philadelphia.
This week, crews will be working from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. the following morning through Thursday.

Work will be done in sections between the Montgomery Drive (Exit 341) and I-676 (Exit 344) interchanges.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays may occur.
