Theft: On April 7, at approximately 12 p.m., police received a report of a theft in the 700 block of Manatawana Avenue. According to police, a microwave was stolen from the front porch of a home on the block. The resident claims, police say, that he placed the item on his porch while unloading groceries and forgot to bring it inside.
Burglary: On April 7, at approximately 9:35 a.m., police received a report of a theft in the 600 block of Renz Street. According to police, a man and woman entered the breezeway of a property and took several items from an enclosed porch. Police say that the two then fled the scene: one on a bicycle and the other in a car. Police managed to stop the man on the bicycle at the scene, and the woman in the car was later arrested after she got into a car accident in the 400 block of Domino Lane. The stolen items were recovered and included a box of dishes and a 13-inch television.
