Roxborough Grad Scores Tryout With Philadephia Eagles
East Falls native Rasheed Bailey practiced at the Novacare Center Wednesday afternoon.

After an impressive performance during pro day at Villanova University two weeks ago, Roxborough High graduate Rasheed Bailey got a chance to tryout for the Philadelphia Eagles Wednesday morning, according to Newsworks.org.
A wide receiver originally from the East Falls neighborhood of Philadelphia, Bailey grabbed the attention of pro scouts at a workout session at Villanova in March, the report says. He took the practice field at the Novacare Center with his Delaware Valley University teammate and quarterback, Aaron Wilmer at 8 a.m. Wednesday.
After running drills, team officials led Bailey on a tour of the facility, the report says. Bailey is due to graduate from Delaware Valley University in Doylestown in May with a major in business and marketing. Aggies coach Duke Greco tells Newsworks that every NFL team has called about his star receiver since pro day.
