Woman's Phone Literally Shaken Loose in Robbery, Police Say

Theft: On March 4, at approximately 8:30 a.m., police received a complaint of a theft from a vehicle at the Getty gas station located at 7800 Ridge Ave.  According to police, a man stole a CD changer out of a car that had been stored there overnight while it was being repaired.

Theft: On March 5, at approximately 11:20 a.m., police received a report of a theft at the Kohl’s located at 8500 Henry Ave.  According to police, a customer at the store was observed attempting to take items from the store without paying for them.  The items included various cosmetics, jewelry and clothing.

Robbery: On March 6, at approximately 7:43 a.m., police received a report of a robbery in the 300 block of Martin Street.  According to police a woman was walking eastbound on Martin Street when she was grabbed by a man walking westbound on Martin Street.  The man then shook her back and forth in order to get her cell phone.  The man did obtain the cell phone and ran off.
