Teen Stole Grandmother's Jewelry, Police Say
A young woman is in jail charged with stealing from her grandmother's jewelry box in Salisbury Township.

Stephanie Marie Wood, 18, of Forest Drive, Coopersburg, is jailed in Lehigh County Prison after being charged with stealing from her grandmother, who lives in Salisbury Township.
Wood stole jewelry valued at $5,000 and sold it for $1,000 to buy drugs, according to a Morning Call report.
Court records say Wood was arrested by Officer Bryan S. Losagio of Salisbury Township Police and was arraigned Friday before Magisterial District Judge Karen C. Devine in Allentown.

Wood was unable to post bail. Next, she will face a preliminary hearing.
