• Gas prices rise by 4 cents this week (centredaily.com) — Selinsgrove drivers are paying about $3.14 per gallon this week, as gas prices across the Susquehanna Valley ticked up four cents to around $3 on average. AAA’s latest report shows Selinsgrove near the higher end of local prices, even as national averages sit at four-year lows heading into the holiday travel rush.
   

• Girls wrestling continues growth in Year 3 (centredaily.com) — Selinsgrove’s girls wrestling program enters its third PIAA season with new head coach Jim Roush and several returning regional standouts, including state medalist Karissa Springer. The Seals and rival Shikellamy lead a growing wave of Valley girls teams, as nearby schools like Southern Columbia, Shamokin and Mount Carmel launch inaugural programs and aim to send more local wrestlers to Hershey.
   

• NC man extradited back to Union County and jailed after alleged $101,000 ATM theft (dailyitem.com) — State police, including investigators from the Selinsgrove barracks, are probing an alleged ATM “jackpotting” scheme that hit machines in Snyder and Union counties for $43,000. A North Carolina man has been extradited to Union County Jail, accused of using malware and physical access to force ATMs to rapidly dispense cash across multiple states.
