Back to School: 5 Sewickley Area Pre-Schools Taking Registrations

Choosing the right pre-school for your child is one of the biggest educational decisions parents will make in those early years.

If you're still looking for a preschool this fall, here are five (okay, six) in the Sewickley area that are still taking enrollments. 

Children's Center for Creative Learning
CCCL of the Sewickley Valley YMCA is a licensed by the State Department of Public Welfare and designed to assist your child’s development by providing a strong emphasis on art, music, Spanish, and children’s literature. The Village Preschool
The Village Preschool at Laughlin Children's Center, 424 Frederick Ave., in Sewickley,  is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. The preschool curriculum stimulates the development of physical, social, emotional and cognitive skills. The Learning Tree Preschool 
The 3-year-old program serves to strengthen socialization skills and the 4-year-old program strengthens learning and development skills. Learning Tree Preschool of Sewickley at 337 Broad St., is a non-profit, non-denominational organization that is affiliated with the Sewickley United Methodist Church. St. James Preschool
Rooted in the Catholic faith, St. James Preschool at 201 Broad St., offers a 3- and 4-year-old program designed to prepare your child to enter kindergarten with both an academic and spiritual foundation. Noah's Ark Preschool
Located at St. Stephen's Church, Noah's Ark Preschool at 409 Frederick Ave., seeks to work with families to encourage positive growth and development in every child. A coordinated curriculum is offered from age 3 through kindergarten to develop language, pre-reading, and pre-math skills, deepen each child's knowledge of God, develop gross-motor skills, and more. FriendShip Preschool 
Registration has begun at FriendShip Preschool, 414 Grant St., which works to provide a high quality, Christian, faith-based, early childhood program that promotes social, emotional, cognitive and physical development in young children.
