Boys Basketball: Quaker Valley Falls to Burrell in Overtime

The QV boys basketball team lost 43-32 in a hard-fought game against Burrell.

Quaker Valley boys basketball came close, but fell short in overtime Wednesday night against the Burrell boys basketball team.

According to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, Quaker Valley was defeated 43-32 in the WPIAL Class AA semifinals at North Allegheny High School.

Quaker Valley will now await its pairing for the PIAA tournament, the P-G reports.

The Buccaneers will face No. 1 seed Beaver Falls at 1 p.m. Saturday in the WPIAL championship at Duquesne University's A.J. Palumbo Center.
