Citizen Science - Firefly Watch

Firefly Watch combines an annual summer evening ritual with
scientific research. Spotting fireflies is a special part of summer, but lately they seem to be disappearing from our landscape. Researchers need your help to track these amazing insects. Join other volunteers all over the country to count fireflies in your own backyard or local field.

This session will teach participants about Fireflies and how to collect data on them throughout the summer! This class is perfect for families introducing science to their children in a fun way!

There is limited seating, so make your reservation by calling Elizabeth Rivera at Audubon at 412-963-6100.
