Fun Day at Fun Buy the Pound

When/Where: 10Â a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday, April 20 at Fun Buy the Pound, Sewickley.Â
Why Go:Â Come with your camera and meet Mrs. Fisher Cat. She'll be at Fun Buy the Pound passing out balloons and meeting children. The event includes Calico Cat games, prizes and a tea party.

When/Where: 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 20 at the Giant Eagle in Leetsdale.
Why Go: The Sewickley Cub Scouts will be having a "Scouting for Food" drive to benefit the Sewickley Food Bank. Scouting for Food is targeted primarily at collecting canned foods, particularly those having a high nutritional value. In addition to food, paper products, soap, and bulk packages of household commodities are needed. All kinds of canned fruits, vegetables and canned products are welcome, as well as sealed, dry packaged foods such as cereals.Â

Build Your Own Secret Fairy House
When/Where: 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, April 20 at Osborne Elementary and Mary Roberts Rinehart Nature Park in Glen Osborne.Â
Why Go: Tracy Kane, author of "Fairy Houses," will be the special guest at the magical event that includes presentations and demonstrations at Osborne Elementary. Demos will be followed by building fairy houses in the park. Bring a bag of Naturalized Materials to make your very own Fairy House. The event is sponsored by the Edgeworth Garden Club.
Admission:Â Free to the public. Open to all ages.Â

When/Where:Â Noon to 4Â p.m. Saturday, April 20 at Bakery Square, Pittsburgh.Â
Why Go: "I Made It! Market" will have a pop-up marketplace featuring items for babies and kids as well as handmade wares for a healthy home. More than 50 regional artisans will be selling Pittsburgh-centric T-shirts for adults and kids, toys, art prints, ceramics, natural bath and body products, jewelry and more. Fingernails & Floats
When/Where:Â 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, April 19 at Sewickley Public Library.Â
Why Go: This is a special after hours event for teens in partnership with Moon Area Public Library. Join the library for two hours of styling fun. All of the tools will be available to get your nails looking fabulous and there will be an ice cream float bar, snacks and a movie.
