HAWKEYE'S MIXED MEDIA OPENING RECEPTION

When/Where: 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. today, Nov. 11, at , Sewickley.

Why Go: Enter the world of award-winning Tattoo artist and mixed media mad scientist, Hawkeye. Mixed Media Madness boasts numerous works all stemmed from the onrush of scenery hidden in Hawkeye's own mind

When/Where: 2 p.m. Sunday, Moon Area High School.

Why Go: Moon Area High School students present A Christmas Carol. The Christmas production will run throughout the weekend.

Admission: $8 for students; $10 for adults.




When/Where: 2 p.m. today, Nov. 11, The .

Why Go: The library will present a special viewing of World War II-era film Bridges at Toko Ri. Registration at the library is not required to attend.

ESTHETICS HAIRPIECE CHARITY EVENT

When/Where: Saturday at Salon, Sewickley.

Why Go: Get your nails done, have a sandwich and help a cancer charity at the same time. All proceeds will be donated.

Price: Depends on treatments, which include a mini-facial, mini-pedicure, manicure, hair blowout and styling and chair massage. To schedule an appointment, call at 412-741-0446.

When/Where:  10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 12. at the .

Why Go: Fifty vendors, artisans marketing and selling their products, such as adult and children clothing, gourmet food, home and holiday décor, and jewelry and accessories will be featured.

Price: $10 per person, or $30 each for admission and buffet lunch served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lunch reservations are required  at 412-749-7052.
