Why Go: Children can read to a certified therapy dog during this regular event at the library. Reading sessions are held in 15-minute intervals. To register, please call the Children's Department at  412-741-0937.

Why Go: Pet owners can have their four-legged friends’ photo taken with Santa Claus in time for the Yuletide season. A bake sale will also be featured.

Why Go: This longstanding Sewickley tradition showcases an early look at a large selection of wares, including fine jewelry, ceramics, glass, fiber arts from new and previous artists.

When/Where: 6 p.m. Nov. 26 at Valley Care Association's Adult Day Services Center on Cherrington Parkway in Moon Township. 

Why Go: This support group meets regularly. Those taking care of an aging parent and/or ill spouse are welcome to join.
