Homicide Detectives Investigate After Motorcyclist Dies In Allegheny Co. Crash

County police said a car and motorcycle collided Wednesday, and the motorcyclist died. They're asking for the public's help investigating.

GLEN OSBORNE, PA — Homicide detectives are investigating a motorcyclist's death in Glen Osborne, the Allegheny County Police Department said.

County 911 got a call at 3:38 p.m. Wednesday that a motorcycle and another vehicle collided at Ohio River Boulevard and River Road, according to police. First responders took the motorcycle driver to a local hospital, where he later died.

"The preliminary investigation shows that a vehicle traveling south bound made a left hand turn and the motorcyclist traveling northbound collided with the vehicle," Allegheny County police said.

Homicide and collision reconstruction units are investigating.
