Police: Intoxicated Bellevue Man Breaks into Sewickley Heights Home
The man was discovered sitting on a downstairs toilet and taken into custody.

A Bellevue man is accused of trespassing into a Sewickley Heights home and using the bathroom, all while he was reportedly intoxicated.
Andrew Fleming, 21, of Division Avenue, is now facing charges of criminal trespass, public drunkenness, disorderly conduct, possession of a small amount of marijuana, and possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia.
According to a criminal complaint, Sewickley Heights police responded at 2:30 a.m. Sunday to the 800 block of Blackburn Road for a report of an intruder somewhere in the house.

Police said the homeowner’s daughter saw an unknown man in the study and spoke to him before he disappeared, leaving behind a backpack and a single flip flop.
The police officer had joined the family in searching for the trespasser when one of the homeowners yelled out “he’s in the bathroom.”

The officer ran to the downstairs bathroom and found Fleming sitting on the toilet. He was taken into custody and appeared to be extremely intoxicated, police said.
The complaint says no one in the family knew Fleming and he had no permission to be there. Fleming was unable to say how he got inside the home and there were no signs that he forced his way in, police said.
During a search of Fleming's backpack, the complaint said police found a small bottle with marijuana residue and a small amount of marijuana wrapped in paper.
Police learned that Fleming was trying to find a friend's house on Darlington Lane. He was at the friend's home earlier and was supposed to get a ride home, but disappeared.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 14.
