Sewickley Academy Senior School to Present 'Mame'
The musical is free and open to the public.
Sewickley Academy Senior School students will present the musical,Β Mame, at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 7 through Saturday March 9 in Rea Auditorium.Β
MameΒ is based on the 1955 novelΒ AuntieΒ MameΒ by Patrick Dennis and a 1956 Broadway play by Lawrence and Lee that starred Rosalind Russell.
Set in New York and spanning the Great Depression and World War II, it focuses on eccentric bohemian,Β MameΒ Dennis, whose life is interrupted when the son of her late brother is sent to live with her.
