Ultimate Pastry Shop Provides St. Patrick's Day, Easter Treats

Anyone looking to sweeten up a weekend St. Patrick’s Day celebration need look no further than The Ultimate Pastry Shop.

From shamrock cookies to the traditional Irish soda bread, owner Bill Eichert said the bakery has an array of cookies, breads, pastries and more to add flavor to any holiday event. 

The pastry shop at 445 Beaver St. is also now taking orders for Easter if you're planning for a holiday beyond this weekend. All Easter orders must be placed by Tuesday, March 26. 

Eichert said the Easter tarts are a popular treat this year, particularly the tropical flavors. The 8-inch or 10-inch tarts come in several flavors that include lemon, lemon raspberry, fresh fruit, mango and key lime and fresh strawberry.

In addition to tarts, you can choose from an array of old-fashioned Ukrainian-style paska bread, sweet breads, cheesecakes, pies and more. 

Bakery hours are 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays. For information or to place an order call 412-741-9150.
