• Deceased roach-like incidents in several areas: York County restaurant inspections, Dec. 16, 2025 (lancasteronline.com) — Recent state inspections found both good and bad news for Shrewsbury diners: Village Coffee and Cream on South Main Street passed with no violations, while New China Family Restaurant passed but was cited for hair restraints, missing ceiling tiles, and insect-control strip concerns. The report also lists detailed results for many other York County restaurants inspected in early December.
