Let me introduce myself. My name is Sharon Fehlinger-Ricker and I am running for South Whitehall Township Commissioner. See the QR code.
I have been a resident of South Whitehall Township most of my life. After graduating from Parkland High School, I attended West Chester University and Immaculata College simultaneously and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education, teaching certification and music therapy certifications. I completed my post graduate studies at Lehigh University where I earned a master’s degree in educational leadership and certification as a K-12 Principal.
My teaching career started in Delaware County, PA. where I taught at the high school and elementary levels. I also worked as a music therapist and recreational therapist in the Montgomery County area. I completed additional university level coursework at Harvard, Bar Ilan, St. Joe’s, Widener, Villanova and the University of the Arts.

I moved back to South Whitehall Township and served as a school principal in public, private and even charter school settings. I have served as an adjunct at the college level teaching experienced teachers to be school leaders/principals.
Leveraging my leadership and experience in education, policy development, budget management, community service, and emergency management protocols will permit me to serve our community. I will apply my mix of creativity and discipline as one of your South Whitehall Township Commissioners.
