Hills at Winchester Plan and Rezoning Request on Walbert Avenue Wednesday in South Whitehall

Here's  what's happening Wednesday in South Whitehall.

• The South Whitehall Township Board of Commissioners meet at 7:30 p.m. at the township administration building, 4444 Walbert Ave. Jaindl Land Co. will make a presentation on possible plans for Shoemaker's Auto Dealership, 4131 Walbert Ave., in conjunction with the proposed development of the Hills at Winchester (Rutz Farm). A public hearing will be held on a request to rezone about one of three acres on 2449 Walbert Ave. from medium-density residential to neighborhood commercial.

• Agricultural Marketing 4-H Club meeting from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Lehigh County Cooperative Extension, 4187 Dorney Park Road. 

• Parkland Community Library will accept book donations from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Thursday for its annual used book sale at the Asbury Methodist Church, 1533 Springhouse Road. The book sale will be Friday and Saturday.
