National Night Out and Used Book Donations Tuesday in South Whitehall

Here's what's going on Tuesday in South Whitehall.

• The third annual National Night Out will be held from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Covered Bridge Park. Rain or shine. Help strengthen the community of South Whitehall by joining your neighbors, police and emergency workers for this fun, family event.

• The National Weather Service forecasts a high of 79 degrees with showers and thunderstorms likely.

• Story Time and Crafts is scheduled for the Parkland Community Library Tuesday at 10 a.m. No registration required. Call 610-398-1361 for details.

• Parkland Community Library will accept book donations from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Thursday for its annual used book sale at the Asbury Methodist Church, 1533 Springhouse Road. The book sale will be Friday and Saturday.
