Parkland Polling Station Mislabeled in Letters Sent to Homes from the County
Letters sent to homes in South Whitehall's 6th District identify the polling place by the wrong name.

Recent letters sent by the Lehigh County Voter Registration Office to residents of South Whitehall's 6th District instruct voters to go to Springhouse Elementary School to vote on Nov. 6.
The polling place is actually at Springhouse Middle School in the cafeteria. A Patch reader noticed the error and asked for help to spread the word. She said she worried the letter would cause confusion.
Officials at Parkland School District are aware of the situation and there will be signs erected near Springhouse Middle School, at 1200 Springhouse Rd., to help voters find their way on election day.

This morning the county Registration Office still had Parkland's Administration Center listed as a polling place but it has since been changed to include the correct information.
The Springhouse Middle School polling site is a temporary change because Parkland School District scheduled a make-up day on Nov. 6, to help recover from four days lost to Hurricane Sandy. Normally, 6th District voters would go to the Administration Building.
