Police Investigate Hit and Run on Rte. 309 Near the Rte. 22 On-Ramp
Third hit-and-run reported in South Whitehall Township this month.
South Whitehall Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident reported at 10:24 a.m. Oct. 12 by a driver who was northbound on Route 309 in the area of Route 22 while merging onto the eastbound ramp.
The driver, according to police, said a "rusty, old-looking garbage truck" struck the driver's vehicle and continued moving.
