Brawl At Delco YMCA Gym Caught On Camera, Charges To Be Filed
A large fight at the Springfield YMCA was captured on camera and the video spread on social media recently.
SPRINGFIELD, PA — A large fight at a Delaware County YMCA was captured on camera and spread online recently.
Video of the fight was shared online, showing numerous people fighting in a gymnasium at the Springfield YMCA.
Footage shows males and females punching, kicking, and wrestling with others in the gym.

The fight started at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to a letter shared by YMCA of Eastern Delaware County CEO Michael Rant.
Police were called to break up the fracas and charges are expected to be pressed against those involved.

Everyone involved was either a member of the YMCA or a guest signed in, and those involved will be barred from joining the YMCA in the future, according to the letter.
As a result of the incident, basketball courts will be closed for pickup games at 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and after 9 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
New court schedules will be released Monday.
Additionally, court will be open to only Springfield Y members, meaning those with memberships to the YMCAs in Landowne and Ridley will not be permitted on the courts.
