Cars Stolen, Keyed, Broken Into Last Week in Springfield
The Springfield Police are investigating a number of vehicle-related thefts and other crimes.

The Springfield Police are investigating a number of vehicle-related thefts and other crimes.
- A resident from the 300 block of S. Swarthmore Avenue reported that sometime during the night of October 13 someone wrote on two vehicles with a black sharpie marker while the vehicles were parked in the lot of her apartment building.
- A resident from the 200 block of Orchard Road reported that sometime during the night of October 13Â someone pried the passenger's side door lock while the vehicle was parked in the driveway of the home.
- A resident from the 100 block of Broadview Road reported that he saw a man around 2 a.m. on October 14 around his vehicle parked in the driveway of the home, but the man fled the area. The unlocked vehicle had been entered and rummaged through.
- A resident from the 500 block of Hempstead Road reported that sometime during the night of October 14 someone entered his unlocked car while it was parked in the driveway of the home. Lottery tickets and credit cards were stolen.
- A resident from the 600 block of W. Rolling Road reported that sometime during the night of October 14 someone stole his white colored 2000 Ford F250 pick-up truck from the driveway of the home. The victim reported that he kept a spare key in the center console of the vehicle. Work tools were in the truck at the time of the theft. Later, the Philadelphia Police Department reported recovering the truck after it was involved in an accident. The driver fled the scene.
- A resident from the 500 block of Kirk Drive reported that sometime during the night of Oct. 15Â someone entered her unlocked vehicle and stole a quantity of loose change from the center console while the vehicle was parked in the driveway of the home.
- A resident from the 600 block of Glendale Circle reported that sometime during the night of October 16 someone entered her unlocked car and stole a GPS Unit while it was parked on the street in front of the home. The GPS is valued at $100.00.
- A resident from the 300 block of Spring Valley Road reported that sometime during the night of October 19Â someone smashed out the rear window of her car while it was parked in the driveway of the home.
- A Media resident reported that sometime between 6 p.m. on October 19 and 4 p.m. the following day, someone keyed the driver's side of her car while it was parked in front of a home in the 500 block of Barry Drive.Â
