Gun Found, Vandalism, Thefts: Springfield Crime Blotter

SPRINGFIELD, PA — Police in Springfield Township issued their weekly crime blotter Monday.
Incidents in the blotter occurred between Nov. 20 and Nov. 26.

Nov. 20 at 3:09 p.m.
A vehicle parked on the 200 block of Harwicke Road was spray-painted on the side of the vehicle with a racial slur.
Nov. 22 at 1:11 p.m.
A patron of the Walgreen’s pharmacy reported he took his jacket off for a brief period of time inside the store and placed it on a display. When he retrieved the jacket, he found cash missing from the pocket.

Nov. 22 at 5:17 p.m.
A 37-year-old male from Willow Grove will be charged with Retail Theft after security at Target at the mall observed him steal close to $500 worth of small electronics from the store.
Nov. 25 at 3:42 p.m.
A resident of the 200 block of Carr Circle reported sometime overnight Nov. 23 to Nov. 24 someone put an unknown liquid substance on two vehicles parked on the street.
Nov. 25 at 8:42 p.m.
Officers responded to Crowell Park, 200 block of Bellevue Avenue, for a report of a loud group. Two juvenile females will be charged with a parks’ violation, and a 14-year-old male from Clifton Heights will be charged with Underage Drinking.
Nov. 26 at 8:55 a.m.
A loaded revolver firearm was found unattended on the 400 block of Colonial Park Drive. The circumstances of how the gun was left there are unknown.
