Hoagies are a favorite takeout sandwich for many people and Sunday in National Hoagie Day.

Last year, in Springfield Patch’s Readers’ Choice poll, we asked for the best hoagies in Springfield.

Our readers told us Wawa has the best. Primo Hoagies, Sleepy Hollow Delly, Capriotti's Sandwich Shop, Thunderbird II and Slack's Hoagie Shack were also contenders for the title.
