Lane Closures To Impact Traffic On Interstate 476 Next Week: PennDOT
The overnight lane closures will affect traffic in Haverford, Marple, Nether Providence, Ridley, and Springfield, and Lower Merion.
Construction on Interstate 476 in Delaware and Montgomery counties will impact traffic overnight next week, according to PennDOT.
PennDOT said lane closures will have an effect on traffic on both north and southbound I-476

- Monday, April 21, through Friday, April 25, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a lane closure will be in place on the ramp from southbound I-476 to Route 3 (Exit 9), and on the ramp from Route 3 (West Chester Pike) to southbound I-476 for road construction in Marple Township, Delaware County.
- Monday, April 21, through Friday, May 2, from 8 p.m. to 5: a.m. the following morning, a weeknight lane closure will be in place on sections of northbound and southbound I-476 between the I-76 and I-95 interchanges for bridge repair and utility construction in Haverford, Marple, Nether Providence, Ridley, and Springfield townships, Delaware County, and Lower Merion Township and West Conshohocken Borough, Montgomery County.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur.

This work is part of a $63.7 million project to resurface, repair and improve nearly 17 miles of the interstate, the associated on-and-off ramps and bridges from I-76 in West Conshohocken to I-95 in Ridley.
