1 Trapped Under Vehicle, 4 Others Hurt In Crash At Delco School

The Springfield Fire Company said a person was rescued from under a vehicle after a Monday afternoon crash at the Saint Kevin School.

SPRINGFIELD, PA — One person, reportedly a teacher, was trapped under a vehicle after a crash at a Delaware County school Monday afternoon.

The Springfield Fire Company was called to the Saint Kevin school at about 2:45 p.m. for a crash with entrapment, with multiple people reportedly trapped under a vehicle.

Within minutes, responders were on scene and found one person under a vehicle.

They were removed and taken to a trauma center, the fire company said.

Four more ambulances were called to the school to take others to hospitals.

Action News reports the person who was trapped under the vehicle is a teacher, and one of the four others hurt is a child.

Their conditions are unknown.
