Suspicious Pair Interacted With Kids Outside Delco School: Police

SWARTHMORE, PA — Authorities in Delaware County are on alert after two suspicious incidents occurred outside a school late last week.

According to Swarthmore Police, the incidents occurred Thursday and Friday last week.

During the afternoon recess on those days, two people were seen near school grounds, with one who reportedly tried to speak with several students.

Police said a weapon may have been seen during that incident, which prompted the school to go into a teaching in place drill.

Authorities are investigating the incidents.
