Hail, Thunder, Lightning, Flooding Expected Today

The National Weather Service advises people to tie down loose objects, saying the "thunderstorms may produce damaging winds, large hail and isolated tornadoes."

Rainfall totals of 1 to 2 inches are expected from today into tonight with locally higher amounts possible. The added rain will increase the chances for flooding to occur on rivers and creeks that are already running high due to the heavy rain that occurred last Friday and Monday.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike is advising caution, and asking drivers to be alrt for changing weather conditions, which could include reduced visibility. slow or stopped traffic, pinding on the road or debris on the road.
