Vote for Patch’s Best Dad

We asked you to help us honor dads by uploading pictures of your dad.

You’ve chosen your local winners and now it’s time to choose the regional winner, who will be awarded a $500 prize package.

All you need to do to vote is scroll down to the comments in this post and type in the name of the Patch where your favorite photo originated. You’ll find the Patch name at the bottom of each photo. You may vote once per day. Any negative comments in a vote will disqualify the vote. This contest is about celebrating our fathers.

Get your votes in by noon Wednesday and choose who will win this great prize package from regional businesses.

Prizes:

• Tablesaw Basics class and certification and One Month of Unlimited Membership at Philadelphia Woodworks in Manayunk ($237 value)
• 2 Hours of Family Night Golf Simulator Rental (Clubs included if necessary) at  Play-A-Round Golf in Malvern ($100 value)
• $60 gift certificate to Chew Philly Food Tours
• $50 gift certificate to Competitive Edge Outfitters in Wayne
• $25 gift certificate to Pinocchio's Pizza in Media, plus an empty, reusable growler ($24 value) to be filled with any of Pinocchio's Beer Garden 25 rotating draft beers (at cost)
• $15 gift certificate to Yosl's Frozen Yogurt in Bala Cynwyd

Here’s a basic rundown of the rules:

• Open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia who are 18 and older.
• To enter, upload a picture of your dad to the entry article. (entry date has passed)
• All entries must be received by Friday, May 31 at noon. (entry date has passed)
• You may enter once per day.(entry date has passed)
• The person submitting the post is the entrant to the contest.
• If your picture includes children, by submitting the photo, you are saying that you have permission from a parent or guardian to use their picture.
• Users will vote to determine one local winner per Patch in the comments area of the voting story that will be posted Saturday June 1 at noon. Votes will be accepted until Thursday, June 6 at noon. Only comments in that voting article will count toward winning the local competition.
• Each Patch site’s winner will then be entered into the regional contest to win the prizes listed above. Voting for the regional contest will take place in the comments section of the regional voting article Friday, June 7 at noon to Wednesday June 12 at noon. Only comments in that voting article will count toward winning the regional competition.
• Any vote with a negative comment about any picture or entrant will be removed and the vote will not be counted.
• Users may vote once per day.
• There is one set of prizes for the regional first place winner. The prize for winning the local Patch contest is entrance into the regional contest and a chance to win the regional prize package. Prizes are listed above.
• In the event of a tie, the winner will be randomly chosen from the entrants that received the most votes.
