• Fundraiser established for Tarentum fire victim (triblive.com) — A local GoFundMe is raising money for Tarentum resident Paula Clever after a fatal duplex fire on Corbet Street that claimed her son Landen’s life and destroyed her home. Donations will help cover funeral expenses and relocation costs as investigators continue probing the late-night blaze that firefighters say left the house a total loss.
   

• Free shuttles across Alle-Kiski Valley among St. Margaret Foundation programs for underserved (triblive.com) — Tarentum residents can continue getting free shuttle rides to UPMC medical appointments through St. Margaret Foundation’s expanded transportation programs across the Alle-Kiski Valley. New 2026 funding also supports senior shuttles between Tarentum and Etna, rehab upgrades, cancer care assistance, safety alerts, food pantry support, and other services aimed at making health care more accessible.
