$10,000 Reward Offered for Info on Chesco Murder

The Chester County DA is looking for information in a double shooting.

The Chester County District Attorney’s office has announced an award for information resulting in the arrest of those responsible for to murders five years ago.

According to a release from DA Tom Hogan, $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to the prosecution of the perpetrators of a Coatesville shooting on July 6, 2008. Carnell Parker and Shontae Peterson were shot and killed in the dining room and the DA is searching for information about the “senseless, violent murder.”

“Anyone with information into this crime should come foreword,” Hogan said in a release. “It is the right thing to do and we can bring closure for two grieving families. This murder investigation remains active. Law enforcement is seeking the help of the public to find those responsible and bring them to justice.”

On July 6, 2008 at approximately 9:10 a.m., the Coatesville Police responded to a call for two gunshot victims in the dining room of the 204 Charles Street residence. Both victims were found lying face down in the dining room of the home with fatal gunshot wounds. Police discovered evidence of forced entry at the rear of the home.
