2025 Easttown Budget Would Lower Real Estate Taxes If Approved
Easttown Township officials said the millage rate in 2025's proposed preliminary budget is 10 percent lower than that 2024 millage rate.
EASTTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Easttown Township's proposed and preliminary budget features a reduction in the overall real estate millage rate, meaning lower property taxes than in 2024.
According to officials, the 2025 budget features 5.4 mills for real estate taxes.
That's a 10 percent decreased in the total real estate tax levels compared to 2024, which were 5.99 mills.

If the 5.4 millage rate is approved, a property valued at $300,000 would have a $1,620 real estate tax bill.
Below is a breakdown of the way real estate taxes will be allocated if the 2025 budget is approved:

- 3.469 mills for general purposes
- 0.102 mills for parks and recreation
- 0.569 mills for library
- 0.554 mills for capital
- 0.706 mills for fire/EMS
The proposed budget reflects new revenues in 2025 from the recently adopted earned income tax of one-half of one percent.
Residents can review and inspect the budget from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Easttown Township Building, 566 Beaumont Road in Devon.

The board of supervisors will consider and act on a final 2025 budget at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2 at the township building.
