Parent/Child Workshop to focus on the connection between art and early literacy at the Easttown Library

 A series of workshops will be held at the Easttown Library for children ages infant to 3 with a parent/caregiver. The dates are: Wed. Nov. 30, Dec. 7, 14, 21 at 10:15 a.m.

This program is designed to explore the connection between emerging art skills and early literacy skills in the young child. Caregivers and parents will learn how to nurture expression and curiosity using books and the elements of art. Participants who have previously attended are welcome. 

November 30—Letter Knowledge

December 7—Vocabulary

December 14—Narrative skills

December 21—Print awareness

 No registration is required. Parents must accompany children under 11.
