On Wednesday, April 11, the Paoli Business and Professional Association held the second annual “A Taste of Paoli” recognition event at the Paoli Fire House. Four awards were given out this year:
The Ed Shanaughy Community Service Award was presented to Reverend Charlie Cole, pastor of the Paoli United Methodist Church.
Business Person of the Year was presented to Brian Zwaan, President and COO of Penn Liberty Bank.

Citizens of the Year went to the Volunteer Firefighters at Paoli Fire Company.
PBPA also presented the 2012 Beautification Award to the Paoli Fire Company for its new Firehouse.
