Woodlynde School welcomes 3 new members to its Board of Trustees: Marc Balcer of Wayne, PA; George Pierson of Wayne, PA; and Mary Lou Sterge of Malvern, PA.
Marc Balcer is the co-founder and partner of Bluefin Investment Management in Berwyn, PA. Balcer is a Chartered Financial Analyst, has affiliations with the Financial Analysts of Philadelphia and the CFA Society, and has been a Woodlynde parent since 2007.
George Pierson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Parsons Brinckerhoff Group, Inc., also serves on the board and executive committee of the New York Building Congress; the board and executive committee of the Design Professionals Coalition; the board of governors of the American College of Construction Lawyers; and the national board and executive committee of the ACE Mentor Program. Pierson is a parent of a Woodlynde Alumni and has been a Woodlynde supporter since 1998.

Mary Lou Sterge has 10 years of experience working in human resources at the BDM Corporation and at Hahnemann University. She is the current Vice Chair of The Chester County Fund for Women and Girls, an original member of the By Girls For Girls Grant Making program; and she is also active with The Maternal and Child Health Consortium of Chester County. Sterge has been a Woodlynde parent since 2004.
