Avero Hires New Chef
Avero has hired Christopher DeFeo, former chef de cuisine at Bar Savona after time at Blackfish and James.
I have not tried Avero Craft Pizzeria in Devon Square, but I heard some negative reviews after the restaurant opened this summer.
According to Philly.com, one of Avero's owners agreed that it "lacked a certain something when it opened."
"It needed to be more trattoria and less pizzeria."
