Back to School Message from the Tredyffrin Police Chief

Tredyffrin Township Police Superintendent Anthony Giaimo spent the morning of the first day of school like many of his officers-patrolling schools in the Township.
Superintendent Giaimo asked Patch to publish the following back to school message from Tredyffrin Township police:

I hope that everyone has had a safe and enjoyable summer.  I want to wish all returning students a successful, safe and productive school year.

The police department will continue its proactive approach to school safety by an increased daily presence at the public and private schools within our jurisdiction.

Additionally, we wish to remind all residents that since our schools are now open, to closely adhere to traffic laws especially near school zones, school crossings and certainly at bus stops.

Safe and aware driving will ensure the continued safety of our young residents on their travels to and from our schools.
