Berwyn EMS First Responders Honored

Two of Berwy Fire Company's first responders are being honored for their life-saving work.

Firefighter/EMT Nam Truong and Firefighter/Paramedic Patrick Boyle are being honored for their dedication to Berwyn Fire Company and for protecting and saving lives in their roles as leaders of the fire company's Emergency Medical Services (EMS).  The awards were presented recently at the 8th Annual Chester County EMS Council Awards Banquet.

Truong is a twenty-year veteran volunteer with Berwyn. Boyle has been a career staff member of the department for five years. Boyle is also a volunteer with two other companies.

According to an announcement on the Berwyn Fire Company's website Truong and Boyle were selected for the honors from among hundreds of EMS providers who serve Chester County.
