Berwyn Fire Company Seeks Volunteers
You're never too young to dream about fighting fires, but there is a minimum age for volunteering.
Sophie Norris, 2, comes from a family of firefighters. Her dad is Berwyn Fire Company Chief Matt Norris. Her grandfather is also a volunteer and the company's treasurer.
Chief Norris says six people have volunteered during the recent recruitment effort. New volunteers are always welcome. Sophie's still too young, but in 14 years she'll be 16 and old enough to be a junior firefighter.
