Betsy Fadem Takes on a New Role in Easttown
She's stepping down from the T/E School Board but not from public service.

Betsy Fadem has been on the T/E School Board for 12 years and she is stepping down at the end of the year, having decided not to run for re-election. That doesn't mean she's going to stop serving the community.
Mrs. Fadem is the newest member of the Easttown Community Advisory Committee. She officially signed on to the ECAC this week. A long time resident of the township, Fadem says she wanted to continue contribute to the community.
She brings a long history of service to the board, as well as knowledge about finance. She has served as Preident, Vice President, Finance Committee Chair, and Policy and Public Information Committee Chair of the T/E School Board and has been directly involved with managing the school district budget (which is much larger than Easttown Township's).
According to her bio on the T/E School District website:
Betsy was elected to the School Board in 2001. She is chair of the Finance Committee and also serves on the Facilities and Policy Committees. Betsy is also the Board representative on the InterSchool Council. Representing Easttown, Region 3, Betsy has resided in T/E for 17 years and has two children who are T/E graduates.
The ECAC is still looking for volunteers who are Easttown residents. Find out more about how you can volunteer here on TE Patch.
