Big Items Stolen in Two Tredyffrin Crimes
Tredyffrin Township Police report two thefts in two cases on the same morning that have one thing in common, but one of the crimes may leave you scratching your head.

Tredyffrin Township Police are investigating two break-in theft cases that were reported within hours of each other Monday morning. In each case the stolen items are not exactly the kind of the things a thief could hide under a jacket or in a shopping bag.
In the first case police say a padlock had been cut on a parked box truck at a construction site on Old Eagle School Road in Wayne. The victim reported a “trench walker” machine was missing. Accoding to Tredyffrin Police "that type of machine removes debris from trenches before cable is laid and weighs between 100 and 125 pounds."Â
The crime was reported Monday morning, June 25, at 7:15. Police have not yet put a value on the stolen machinery.
