Blinding Sun Show In Sky Over Devon

Mother nature puts on a blinding evening rush hour performance over Lancaster Avenue.

It's the time of year once again when cold, clear winter skies and the rotation of the earth can sometimes combine for a blinding westbound evening commute on westbound Lancaster Ave.

This was how it looked a few minutes after 5 p.m. Wednesday for drivers heading past the Devon Horse Show grounds on Lancaster Ave./Route 30 in Devon.

Wednesday's official sunset was at 5:27:55 according to Unitarium.com.

Thursday's sunset will be at 5:29:07 p.m.. As the sunlit hours keep getting longer, the sun will to be right in the eyes of westbound evening commuters for at least a few more weeks.
