Brush Fire Erupts at Gateway Shopping Center

Berwyn Fire Company firefighters raced to put out the flames as a brush fire erupted in the grass between the parking lot and Swedesford Road (parallel to US 202) late Monday morning.

Berwyn Fire Company photographer Luke Rafferty took these shots of the firefight and provided TE Patch with photos from the scene.

The cause of the blaze is still under investigation. Temperatures hovered around 80 at the time of the fire, much cooler than in recent days. 

Patch is working on getting more details on the fire, which was put out quickly. We will post more information as it becomes available.
