Wayne Presbyterian Church invites the community to a special “Blue Christmas” service on Sunday, December 21 at 4:30 p.m. in the church chapel. This quiet, contemplative worship service is designed especially for those who find the holiday season difficult.
While Christmas is often portrayed as a time of nonstop joy and celebration, many people experience grief, loneliness, anxiety, family stress, financial worries, or the pain of missing loved ones. If the bright lights and “good cheer” feel out of reach this year, you are not alone—and this service is for you.
The service will balance time for quiet individual worship with gentle opportunities to connect with others. Pastors Ryan Balsan and Tim Pretz, along with Director of Music John Grecia, will lead this intimate gathering in the warm setting of the Wayne Presbyterian Chapel.
